We met with PCSO Tom to discuss issues facing our local community, asked him questions about the police force and explored the police uniform.
Lee Lee – “What are the most crimes in Ferryhill?”
Kinley -”What is the most common uniform to wear?”
Jessica – “How far can the walkie talkie go?”
Kaison – “What happens if someone is spray painting?”
We took part in a speed watch outside of school, observing and recording the speed of passers-by. We spoke to PCSO Tom about how drivers and local residents can travel safely in and around our community.
We visited our local police station, exploring the different equipment and accessible areas. We then explored the police van, sitting in both the front and back.
Kinley – “I’m glad I came here because now if I got lost or needed some help I wouldn’t feel scared about coming here”
Ian – “I would like to be in the police when I grow up now”
Luke – “I think I want to be in the police when I’m older because you feel important when you are in the van. I liked putting the lights on”
